Hi,

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 2 MMX graphic card.
This card is not supported by XFree86.

It exists a Linux driver, but I failed to install it.

Does anyone have an idea which can help me ?

Thank

Rodolphe

There exists a project at sourceforge to try porting this driver
to FreeBSD.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/fbsd-nvdriver/
Development Status: 1 - Planning, 2 - Pre-Alpha
This Project Has Not Released Any Files

Hi Rodolphe,

I have a GeForce 2MX card, too. With XFree86 4.1
it works very well (using the nv-driver).
Try XF4.1 and your video card will work.

I am afraid he wants 3d support.

1. Project: NVIDIA--NVIDIA drivers for Solaris 7

Greetings.  I would like to begin development of some generic drivers
for NVIDIA-based graphics cards under Solaris 7.  I have recently
installed Solaris 7 on the other side of my home workstation for
learning and experimentation purposes, and I was dismayed to find that
my spiffy Viper 550 was completely unsupported.

Since I am a developer at heart, I would like to propose this project to
the group here to determine if there is sufficient interest for me to
proceed with this project.  I have a lot of other priorities, so I'm not
sure how long it will actually take me to do it, but I am interested in
making it work if possible.
