Hello,
I got a big problem installing fbsd 3.2 on a 486dx2 66 with onboard scsi
ncr 53c810 contr.
the boot.flp doesn't recognize the controller!
how could I load the kernelmod ncr0 at boot time or how
can I compile a new kernel without an existing/running fbsd 3.2!

It should work. I was able to install FBSD 3.2 on either of my systems
with a 53C875 (one is a geniune Symbios Logic, the other a Tekram
DC-390F). No problems. Check for IRQ conflicts. What's your dmesg
say? Alt-F2 should bring you to the diag messages.

If everything is fine with the onboard 53C810, it should show up in your
dmesg.
