Is there a reason why media access is tested after the boot manager is
installed?
I'd would have loved to see a media access test before any (destructive)
writes to my disk.
This kind of blows you out of the water, if you for any reason can not
access the dist and
have NT on the box too. That made me sweat for while, until I got my
hands on a DOS
boot floppy with fdisk on it.
