can anyone suggest some nice imapd? that supports maildir..

don't suggest courier imapd ... 'cause it's sux.. well it's not that bad .. it's just they claim every single mail client is broken.. while other imapd is workin just fine...

This also sucks. Please don't post html and text, text is enough.
As for your question, perhaps you ought to check the archives from the
qmail mailing list? I'm positive there should be something about it
there.
