Samba and FreeBSD.

Samba and FreeBSD.

Ok...  i've seen many threads that dealt with this subject before, and
have decided to try and make a "definative" guide on optimizing samba's
performance.  My specific needs are to make reads faster from samba to
Win98.  socket options are TCP_NODELAY.  It writes from win98 fine, but
reads really slow.  Keep in mind that MTUSpeed does not play friendly
with Win98 (it won't find the TCP/IP keys)

any information is apreciated, it will be compiled and posted on
wisefreebsd.virtualave.net eventually

thanks, ~jon sage
