1. GCC-2.5.8 won't compile [/usr/include/limits.h:52: No include path...
I'm trying to recompile gcc so Ihave a known working copy from a known source.
I'm working on gcc-2.5.8 from prep.ai.mit.edu.
I did ./configure --target=i486-*-linux --prefix=/usr
I then did make, which worked, no errors or warnings.
I next did make stage1, again no warnings or errors.
I next did make CC="stage1/xgcc -Bstage1/" CFLAGS="-g -O" (as per INSTALL doc)
several modules compile until I get:
In file included from /usr/include/sys/param.h:4,
from toplev.c:36:
/usr/include/limits.h:52: No include path in which to find limits.h
I've compiled gcc-2.5.8 on sysvr4 and sunos-4.1.3 without problems.
