First, make a ports update by:
cp /usr/share/examples/cvsup/ports-supfile /root
# add some cvs mirror host, e.g.
cvsup -L 2 -g ports-supfile | /usr/bin/tee /var/tmp/cvsup-ports 2>&1
Then, try again.
It takes quite some time, as it requires jdk13x, which requires
linux-jdk13x to install, which requires the linux emulator
and so on.
But, I did it that way and it worked very, very fine afterwards.
