I'd like to setup NIS on my freebsd machine. I'm used to using 'ypinit'
on SunOS machines to setup an NIS or YP master. How do you do it on a
FreeBSD machine? ypinit seems to be absent. I checked the Handbook and
can't seem to find much on NIS.

And don't forget to use DES encryption or your nis tool can't match
any passwd

Hi ALL,
I wonder if NIS+ development on Linux is realy stopped. And if
someone out there has any clue to give me about athoner software
that could substitute NIS/NIS+ function.
