See the comments in /usr/src/sys/pci/if_rl.c for more information.

1. D-Link DFE-530TX 10/100 NIC supported?

Hi,

The Ethernet-HOWTO doesn't list this card but it uses the DEC 21140
chip so I think it may work with linux. Can anyone confirm this?

For a two node network, can I use a crossover cable instead of a hub?

Is there any advantage to a hub other than supporting more nodes?

Thanks
