I've installed 4.0-RELEASE..

should i a) wait for 4.1 and install it
or b) upgrade 4.0 to 4.1 using cvsup.

is there a difference? can something be missing when upgrading rather than
re-installing!?

Either, your call. Whatever's easier. I'd tend to go for cvsup
because I'd be cvsuping to follow 4-STABLE anyway.

In theory, no.

cvsup is the way to go, set it up, let it go overnight (if you have a slow
connection) and in the morning procede to do the make world, make your
kenrel and reboot. Sweetest piece of engineering out there.
