Hi,

I've got a ncr3430 system and it has an onboard NCR 53c710 scsi
controller(MCA bus). freeBSD does not seem to find this controller. Is there
any way to make this work??

I too am desperately in need of these drivers and can not seem to find it
anywhere, nor any suggestions as to where to look.

Thankyou!
Greg

I dont think the problem is the NCR 53c710 bios-chip.
Have you checked that the MCA bus is supported by FreeBSD
by now..?
Seem to recall NetBSD is claiming to support MCA though.
There's a coupple of _nice_ IBM PS/2 MCA boxes here
who was desperately wanting a serious and _stable_ OS, but due
to lack of MCA support in FreeBSD made me go for Slackware Linux
on theese a while back ago...   Quite *BSD'ish, and oh so nice...
