Hi,

Has anybody successfully run Apache 1.3.3 + DSO (Dynamic Shared Object)
on FreeBSD 3.0-RELEASE?

The document of apache doesn't mention about 3.0 at all and I cannot
start httpd with following message:

ROOT:</home/myhsu># /usr/local/apache/sbin/httpd -S
Syntax error on line 26 of /usr/local/apache/etc/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/mod_mmap_static.so into
server: /usr/local/apache/libexec/mod_mmap_static.so:
Undefined symbol "ap_null_cleanup"

I have used FreeBSD 2.2.X with Apache + DSO support for a long time
, but just try to swith to 3.0 RELEASE recently.

I get similar errors with the ports binary package, apache-fp 1.3.1, and
1.3.3 downloaded from www.apache.org, so I guess there must be something
different about these libraries under 3.0.

I did try some "configure" options for DSO, but that didn't work.
