Yes, I know. But what I meant was that posting the generic BSD FAQ in
freebsd.announce is a waste of bandwidth because, as far as FreeBSD is
concerned, it is completely out of date.

Hello,

this FAQ is completely outdated when it comes to FreeBSD (don't know
about the other *BSD's). Also, FreeBSD contains a FAQ in
/usr/share/doc/FAQ.

This periodic posting costs me quite some UUCP downloads time,
so I wonder whether it is really worthwhile for anyone to post it any
longer to comp.unix.bsd.freebsd.announce.
