Anybody tried out running Linux's VMWare under FreeBSD?
How to do that? n How's the performance?

VMWare for Linux will never run under FreeBSD. You could sure send them
an e-mail requesting a freeBSD version.

The source code from these kernel modules is in the distribution. Has
anyone looked at them to see whether it would be feasible to create

Hi Group,
Short question, but I find confusing answers on the Web:
What sort of VMware can I install on FreeBSD ?
I mean, is there a native one for FreeBSD at all? If so, which version?
Or only the Linux one is available, and we can use that due to Linux
compatibility?
I am not necessarily talking about the latest VMware 3 version. The
question is in general, for any version.
