ppp DNS question

ppp DNS question

Forgive me if this is a "ppp newbie" question but I can't find an
answer in any of the documentation.

Is it possible to set up PPP (user or kernel) to forward DNS lookups
to DNS servers which might vary from user to user?

For example, say users A and B have different ISPs. The DNS servers
at their ISPs cannot be listed in /etc/resolv.conf, since this file
would have to change each time a different user wanted to dial out.
So when user A creates a PPP connection to his ISP, the only DNS
server known is local, i.e. 127.0.0.1.

So the question is: can named be set up to forward DNS lookups to
servers that are dynamically assigned by PPP? If so, how is this
accomplished?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
