Call to power?

Has anyone made Civilization - Call to Power work with FreeBSD?
Is it worth buying for running on FreeBSD instead of Linux?

I made it run, worked not so bad, but slower than under Linux. And sound
effects always come about a second too late :-)

1. Civilization: Call to Power

So the new Civilization game, Civilization Call to Power, has come
out with a Linux ver, and on their webpage they claim that some ppl have
gotten to run under FreeBSD with Linux emulation.  Has anyone out there
actually gotten this to work?  If so how?  I'd like to try it but I
don't think that I'm good enough with FreeBSD yet to get it to work
without instructions.  :)
