UPS debugger broken under Linux?

Post by Greg Pring » Wed, 10 Aug 1994 08:14:41

  I can't seem to get UPS working 100% under Linux. Any suggestions?

  I'm running kernel 1.1.28, and I've built ups-2.45.2 with the linux
patches. When I give it the following program:

#include<iostream.h>

void count(int k) {
  k = k + 1;

Quote:}

main () {
 int k;
  count(k);
  cout << "hi";
  cout << "ho";

Quote:}

  I can step through it no problem. But when I try to click on 'k', it
exits with the message:

Fatal internal error: unknown lang in gbt (aborting) ...
Dumping core ... IOT trap

:Fatal internal error: unknown lang in gbt (aborting) ...
:Dumping core ... IOT trap

ups 2.45 does not support C++. This is not a linux specific error.

  Thanks, you're right!  I guess I haven't used it since switching to C++.
Too bad, it's a great de* (except for the error messages of course).
