XFree Problems HW/SW

Hi.

I have a strange problem with the XFree X server. After running awhile,
the dotclock seems to be different, this causes the X server to not find
any appropriative resoulutions. This again causes my screen to be reset
each 2 seconds (not good for the monitor I think).

The TSENG ET4000 (Turbo ?)

This is the result when thing seems to work nice :

*****

Somehow it seems that the dot-clock-speed decreases to 1/3 of the
normal. Is is a way to restore the VGA-card back to the original ?

I have to boot just because my VGA card is f.... up.

The dot clock detection only works reliable when there is little or no load.
For this reason, you should start X once to detect the clocks and copy the
values then into your Xconfig.

This would be:
clocks  25.18 28.32 32.5 35.9 39.9 45.0 31.4 37.5 50.0 59.9 64.9 74.0 80.5 89.7 62.7 75.1
