Pro Sonic 16 & NEC 2Xi (210)

Post by Andreas Ma » Tue, 19 Jul 1994 18:56:50

Hello,

I have a NEC 2XI OEM drive (SCSI inquire says NEC 210) and
a Pro Sonic 16 Soundcard. (IRQ 12 Address 0xca00).

I have build my kernel to support Seagate ST-01/ST-02, because
I think that my card has an TMC 950 Chipset.
I set in the MAKEFILE -DOVERRIDE=0xca00, -DIRQ=12 , -DCONTROLLER=FD

dmesg shows this line:
scsi0: Seagate ST-01/ST-02
.....
...
scsi: 1 hosts
......
scsi1: phase= BUS FREE (seven times)

=> no CDROM

I have Kernel 1.1.19

Any help welcome.
