Does anyone have a properly working CF86Config for Diamond Viper PCI ?

Could you post it to this newsgroup or mail directly to me. Thanks.

1. Need help with XF86Config for Dell P1690 monitor with Diamond Viper V770D

I am trying to get a Dell-installed Redhat 6.0 Linux system to use a different
video mode than the default.

Hardware: Dell P1690 monitor (24" diagonal),
Maximum supported resolution is 1920x 1200
Horizontal scan rate is 30--96 kHz
Vertical scan rate is 50--160 Hz

Graphics card:
Diamond Viper V770D with 32 Mb of RAM
Supports 1920x1200 True color (32-bit) at 60 Hz
   "        "      High color (16-bit) at 76 Hz

I have the 1600x1200 mode working fine with the following modeline
Modeline "1600x1200"  162   1600 1664 1856 2160  1200 1201 1204 1250 +HSync +VSync

The XF86Config supplied by Dell did not contain a 1920x1200 mode, so I had to
invent one and it does not work. Here is what I tried
Modeline "1920x1200"  180.0   1920 2000 2200 2400 1200 1204 1207 1244 +HSync +VSync
I just picked hsyncstart, hsyncend, htotal ... based on intuition and using
the working 1600x1200 mode as a guide.
How are these numbers determined from the monitor/video card specs?

Any help appreciated,
