compiling listserv: where is R_OK?

Post by Chris Wrig » Fri, 03 Feb 1995 13:18:41

I'm trying to compile listserv and it barfs when it can't find a declaration
for R_OK...linux 1.1.59

greping the source tree gives me :
fs/open.c:      if (mode! = (mode & S_IRWXO)) /* where's F0K, X_OK, R_OK? */

any help would be appreciated...

1. LISTSERV Compile: How to?

I have tried to compile listserv on my machine with no luck.  What
libraries are required?  Are there any "tricks"?

Better question:  Has anyone got listserv to compile on Linux?

Here is my error:

maroon:/usr/mail/listserver# make install
cc -c -g  commands.c
commands.c: In function `listhelp':
commands.c:51: `R_OK' undeclared (first use this function)
commands.c:51: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
make: *** [commands.o] Error 1

Thanks in advance for any help.
