by Hello. I installed the "T" series of diskettes from Slackware 2.1,
and chose to install the "texi2dvi" executable. When I try to run
texi2dvi, it tries to run "tex". Since there is no "tex" executable,
and no link from "tex" to "virtex", I made a link... This didn't
work. "latex" does work, so I am guessing to get "virtex" to look
like "tex" instead of "latex", I need to tell "virtex" to use
different configuration files... Is there a FAQ or howto on this?
Is anyone able to decipher what I just wrote, and if so, am I close?
Any info/comments would be appreciated.
