Hmmmmm.... me thinks you need a least 4Megs of ram or a whole lot of
swap space.

1. Installing slackware 1.2.0 on a 2M machine.

Hardware:386-SX40 (AMD) with 2M of 80 ns SIMMS. AMI bios. Seagate IDE HD.
Multi I/O card of unknown type (2HD 2FD 2S/1P/1G). Oak 1Meg SVGA card.

I am attepting to install Linux 1.0 with Slackware 1.2.0 on the above machine.
I pass no parameters to the
Whenever I start it up it gets just past uncompressing linux.... as below

It then hangs, the boot disk keeps spinning and I don't know what to do.
