I have an NEC CD-AT160 SCSI adapter, which is apparently a Trantor T-160.
Does anyone out there have any information about using this with Linux? I
haven't seen any mention of it in the SCSI HOWTO or elsewhere. I don't have
Linux yet, so I can't try it out. I'm going to get Linux anyway, but I would
feel better if I knew I would be able to access my CD-ROM drive (an NEC 3Xp).

Any idea what chip the T160 uses?

I can tell you that it doesn't work since I have that stuff exactly, and the
fall yggdrasil release... I don't know how to make it work.
Helloooooooo yggdrasil! hellllllpppppp!
btw the chipset is native trantor chipset ... dya want #'s?

I know it doesn't work. That's why I asked which chip it uses. The T130B
didn't work but one line of code in the 5380 driver made it work. A few
more weeks of toil and it now is fully functional.

I'll ask again: Do you know which Chip the T160 is based on? If not, look
at the board.

Numbers would be great. I didn't know Trantor used home made chips.
