Cant get tex to work

I recently installed slackware 2.0.2 with tex. However, when I try to
run it, I always get a segmentation fault. I installed the A, Ap, D,
N, and T series. Am I missing something or is there a package I needed
that did not get installed.

1. i could't able to print .ps and .tex files getting garbage......

Hi,
Configured samaba on RedHat 7.1 and configured for one of
shared windows printer (LaserJet 6L). Tested with text file, its Ok.
But postscript, or through Netscape Navigator what all sending to print
coming with garbage printing ..

what all i needs to set in what all configuration files..

Could you please help me out.
