Very Computer

        After reading through the HOWTO's and FAQ's, I noticed that one of the
docs (L_H_C_H) mentions that the Mylex DCE376 will work (in WD emulation
only).  Another (L_S_H) says it won't work.

        Well, feeling brave I decided to give it a shot and it didn't work.  I've
checked (and rechecked) all my jumper settings for the card and it (SLS
99.11) wouldn't install.

        During the install, it tries to show me my current partition table, but
bombs here with "Result=0xfffffff -  memory map destroyed" when I try to
install using "floppy".

        If anyone has gotten linux installed with this controller I'd really
apprecaite any hints/how-to's, you could give me.  Email or post...

I have installed Linux from the SLS distribution on several machines with
(almost) no problems. How have you partitoned your disk?
