Help !
I have had some mess with my diskcontroller. It has been replaced, and
now it works fine. Meanwhile, my linux-partition (ext2) has become
corrupt....
I can boot from floppy, and try e2fsck (version 0.5a), but it just says:
Bad magic number in super-block while trying to open /dev/hda3
Couldn't find valid filesystem superblock
I found an option for using copies of the superblock, so I tried
e2fsck -f -b 8193
e2fsck -f -b 16385
e2fsck -f -b 24577
e2fsck -f -b 32769
and now the reply is
Block bitmap 0 for group 0 not in group.
with no further action. Apparently it finds the superblock-copy,
but where do I go from here ?
Any hints, anyone ? It would be nice not having to reinstall
everything from scratch....
