Pre-setup linux hardware?!?

Post by Gary J LaPoin » Wed, 17 Aug 1994 01:03:15

In the Linux Journal (which I can't find!) I saw a few ads for some
distributers selling pre-setup machines all configured with linux and
everything.  We need to buy one of these.  Can someone point me to a
distributer of these (or can one contact me!).  I need to get a ocpy of
one of these ads.

(Work got budget approved for hardware NOT the support (ME!) so I'm not
gonna fuss with the extra time to set it up.)

Thanks,
Gary

1. CUPS pre-setup

Hi,

Before I add a printer to my Linux box, the CUPS software
administration manual recommends that I run lpinfo -v to completely
list available devices.

Indeed, lpinfo does list many, many devices...

missing I would greatly appreciate their feedback.
