Hello,
I have a little problem between SuSE 6.0 and AIX 4.3.2/4.3.3.
I have to tell you, that I have no SuSE experience at all, I have some AIX
experience, though.
I have successfully installed SuSE 6.0 on a PC and mounted successfully an
exported file system from an AIX box.
I cannot mount an SuSE exported file system onto the AIX box.
The AIX tells me:
mount: 1831-008 giving up on:
rowlf:/home00
vmount: The file access permissions do not allow the specified action.
The SuSE machine (rowlf) tells me (var/log/messages):
May 24 09:48:23 rowlf mountd[111]: NFS mount of /home00 attempted from
172.26.68
.3
May 24 09:48:23 rowlf mountd[111]: /home00 has been mounted by 172.26.68.3
May 24 09:48:23 rowlf nfsd[115]: NFS request from kermit.acegas originated
on in
secure port, psychoanalysis suggested
Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you very much,
Regards, Igor
