Hello,
I have a #9GXEPro (chipset S3 Vision 964) and I can't get any
program that uses svgalib to work. I'm stuck. It sucks. I'm tired. Help
me.

Why use svgalib? svgalib is a waste of your card. Run X11.Quote:>I have a #9GXEPro (chipset S3 Vision 964) and I can't get any program

BTW, the svgalib demo programs worked for me. (the 3D one was cute)
There is also a diagnostic svgalib program that inspects youor hardware
and says what you have. Only the lower-resolution (VGA not SVGA) modes
work on 9GXEPro. Reason: SVGA is not a standard, VGA is; VESA is.

Hey!
I was wondering if anyone could e-mail me their XF86Config file for the
above types. I have a MAG DX 17F and I am using a Diamond S3-964 chip.
(I know a couple of you sent me your MAG info, but I had an slight
"accident" and have since lost them. ;-) So if you could be so kind...)
I don't have the right numbers, and I really need X up and running.
Any help would be appreciated!
