Help with SCSI tape drive, PCMCIA SCSI card

Post by Dale R. Worl » Thu, 15 Dec 1994 21:11:11

I own a laptop.  I'd like to attach a tape drive to it, and later on,
a CD-ROM, extra disk(s), etc.  It seems the best solution is to get a
PCMCIA SCSI card, and hang all the peripherals off the SCSI card.

Has anyone out there done this?  What components do you suggest?  What
hints do you have?

Thanks,

Dale

Now, don't get me wrong. I'm as patriotic as the next fellow. I love my
country and all that.  I'll even admit to being an American, when
pressed, and that's doing pretty good for a Baby Boom
quasi-intellectual in this culture where the most American possible
characteristic is to pretend to hate and despise American culture ...
while, of course, simultaneously relying on its tax-supported
institutions for your salary, its medical facilities for your
well-being, its police and military for your personal safety, and its
Constitution for your right to proclaim it corrupt and oppressive.
