1. UDP and Multicasting In Linux

Are there any Linux kernels and supporting libraries that would
allow me to port, compile and run some basic UDP multicast socket
programs I have written in C++ for Irix 5.3 ??

Basically what I am asking is are multicast extensions to the
standard TCP/IP protocols supported under Linux yet ?

Thanks
John

ps. Is there a FAQ for the tcp/ip under Linux ??
