Very Computer

I need some info on h/w compatibility with linux. Has anyone used the
following with Slackware distribution of Linux (and the Xfree version that
comes with it) :

1. The Phantom 32i graphics accelerator card from Genoa Systems. According to
the product literature, it is based on Tseng Labs ET4000 W32p.

2. The TurboExpress 486VL-3 motherboard from Genoa Systems.

3. Tyan multifunction controller w/16550 uarts (I don't know the exact model
number).

4. Panasonic Double-Spin CD-ROM drive. (model number not known).

I have a Phantom 32i with 2Mb memory running on an OPTi motherboard. It is
supported as a garden variety ET4000 by the Xfree86_svga server. I read
yesterday that someone has just released a partially accelerated server for
the ET4000/W32{i,p} chipset. Even as an SVGA board it gives much better
speed than a Diamond Speedstar ET4000.
