(Q) Pocket LAN Adapter PE-1200 (Parallel port)

Hi !

I have a noname parallel pocket adapter called Ethernet Pocket LAN Adapter
Model PE-1200 for evaluation until next monday.

I did not know to which adapter it is compatible. So I just plugged it on my
notebook running with Linux 1.0 . At startup the system recognizes it as a
D-Link DE600 but the network services dont start telling me that the network
is unreachable.

Does anybody know about that adapter working with Linux. (it is urgent because
I have to return it next monday)

Does anyone know if Silicom's Pocket LAN Adapter (SET+) works with Linux
networking?  The FAQ didn't mention anything about Silicom, and I was
wondering whether or not to consider it along with the D-Link adapter.
