Very Computer

I installed util 1.9 yesterday and everything seems find.. but.. when I type

w <enter>

I get this:

  4:32pm  up 15 min,  1 user,  load average: 0.07, 0.06, 0.00

junior   ttyS0                     4:32pm                      -

I can't seem to figure out why from, idle, JCPU AND PCPU are always blank..
not to mention what has a - instead of a w.  

If anyone has any ideas why this is I'd appreciate the help..

Oh.. yes.. i did make the link -> ln -s /var/adm/utmp /etc/utmp and update
my /etc/rc.d/rc.S to do the same..

One other thing.. if someone wouldn't mind.. I'd like to see other ideas how
to set up /etc/syslog.conf.  I set mine up just like the man pages and it
works, I just want to see how others are doing it..

I relinked the w from procps to bassman, because in 1.1.35 I came across
the same situation....

Hmm...I'm not even getting this with w.bassman or w.procps!!!! I don't
even see the names in the user field!

I have had same kind of problem with utmp after installing util 1.9.  My fix is:

   ln -s /etc/utmp /var/adm/utmp

It seems that util 1.9 perfers to find utmp in /var/adm.
