Quite simply, fingering my machine gives...
[localhost]
libc.so.4 (DLL Jump 4.5pl19) => /lib/libc.so.4.5.26
gryphon%
Both in.fingerd and finger work when called directly, but not when called
from inetd. I've tried recompiling finger and fingerd, staticly and
dynamically (compiling staticly gives a static linkage error) and it still
doesn't work.
Can anyone help?
