scanner problem

Post by Papailiou Nik » Wed, 12 Oct 1994 18:09:42

Recently I bought a handy scanner (QTronix Sagitta) but I noticed that while
booting linux (before the login prompt) the scanner is turned on and never
goes off, even if I press computer's reset button. The scanner setup is
IRQ-5, 100h

How can I fix it?

1. Scsi-Scanner Problem

Hi all
I'm using a Mustek 800IISp Scanner with SuSE 6.0,but I could not scan with
any application. The scanner isn't shown at the device-box of Gimp.
I think that is a problem caused by scsi-inquiry-string of my mustek.
Could anybody help me ?
