Nroff is not in Slackware. I tried to find nroff in couple of
FTP sites. I did check over Linux FAQ.

Where can I get nroff package for Linux? I need this for
making man file for separate 3rd party application.

But did you check the Linux Software Map (LSM)?

I'm sure Slackware has groff, try that.
