xgrabsc | gs = poor quality

xgrabsc | gs = poor quality

I'm using xgrabsc (v 2.3).  I pipe it to gs and output it to a deskjet500.
Any of the images I click on produce output that is about 90% readable,
sometimes far less *than* readable.

Is this a problem with 'xgrabsc' or 'gs'?  I'm leaning toward 'gs' as
being the problem, as I'm had wierd things, (not as extreme), on my
RS/6000 using ghostscript.  Any advice?

Please send email, thanks.

1. xgrabsc: need to capture 2nd/3rd screen (any support for xgrabsc?)

We are using the "xgrabsc" utility (version 2.4 beta) to capture parts
of screen displays on IBM RS-6000 AIX.  Unfortunately, this only seems
to work for the first screen of a multi-headed workstation.

Has anyone used "xgrabsc" like this, or know where we can get support?
(the person who got it for us has since left our company).
Or, other capture programs that provide colour dumps of multi-headed
screens (apart from "xv").

The command "xgrabsc -d :0.0 -coords 10x10+10+10" works OK, but the
command "xgrabsc -d :0.1 -coords 10x10+10+10" or
the command "xgrabsc -d :0.2 -coords 10x10+10+10" both cause errors of
the following form:

ERROR OF FAILED REQUEST : BAD WINDOW ( INVALID WINDOW PARAMETER ) MAJOR
OPCODE OF FAILED REQUEST: 15 (X_QUERYTREE)(
MINOR OPCODE FAILED REQUEST:0
RESOURCE ID IN FAILED REQUEST:0x20060778
SERIAL No. OF FAILED REQUEST:6
CURRENT SERIAL NO IN OUTPUT:6

Any ideas?
