Very Computer

Well after weeks of trying to figure out why term1.08 was* I have
solved the problem...  Why didn't I think of it sooner...

I dial up a NetBlazer, from there I log onto the machine of my choice.  Well,
I get my mail on "Shorty"  (A Dynix Machine, so Term isn't compiled for it)
so that is the first one I log onto.  Then I rlogin onto "Harpo" from
"Shorty" (Harpo's a DEC) to run term....  This is what causes all the problems.

If I login to harpo from the start (The NetBlazer to Harpo) all works well.

Thought I'd post in case anyone else is having a similar problem.

The reason this is probably happening is that your rlogin might be using
a 7 bit connection. To overcome the problem, use...

rlogin harpo -l <user> -8

-8 must be the last parameter.
