I am looking for a graphics viewer for gif/jpeg file formats that does not
require X-Windows to run. If anyone is aware of the source of one, something
like The Graphics Workshop, please email me.

There is a program written by a friend of mine called zgv that uses the svgalib to display GIFS and Jpegs. This I believe is up on sunsite.unc.edu somewhere, if you cant find it then mail me and I will send it to you.

1. Looking for GIF/JPEG viewer...
I am running Yggdrasil Fall '93 - standard (235M) installation.
I'm sure this is an incredibly dumb question, but where should I look
for a GIF/JPEG viewer (preferably for X Windows (XFree 386)) ?
Do I already have it, or do I have to download something (not that it
matters much to me one way or the other).
Also, on a related note, the MPEG viewer provided is nice and all, but
does it really only run in that tiny (about 2 inch sqare) window? Can't
I make it use the whole screen?
