XF86Config for S3 needed

Post by Marsilio Rober » Thu, 19 Jan 1995 03:21:35

Hi, I am using an IBM PS/2 486DX-66 with
a following configuration:

Monitor: ibm type 6327-002
Graphics card: S3 SVGA (chipset 86c805)

I tried to generate a configuration file for Xwindows but
I have not obtained any result.
Please, Can anyone send me an example of XF86Config generated
for my configuration ?

Thanks

This file was orginally written by someone else, I changed the modeDB part
of it, I have an integrated S3 card, and this only works with the Mono server
because the S3 server is buggy with 512k vram, but give it a try.
You may want to look in the ModeDB.txt file on sunsite to get the exact modes
for your monitor, that's where I got mine from.
