Hello Don,

you should have a look at Brent Chapman's "majordomo".

The package is available for anonymous FTP on machine
FTP.GreatCircle.COM in file ~pub/majordomo.tar.Z

You could have a look at the ListProcssor 6.0 by Anastasios Kotsikonas.
Iv'e been running it for over half an year on Linux with no problems
whatsoever. BTW hardly any porting required, just some lock specifications...
