I am planning to get a 4x CDROM, and hook it up to a PAS 16.  Any
recommendation on which drive to get, and are these new breed work with
Linux??  I am using kernel 1.0.9 now.

thanks for your input

I'm running a Toshiba 3501 on my PAS-16. You want to link cdrom to
/dev/sr0 to make it run and also fix your fstab file.

1. Teac CD-55A 4X cdrom drive

--

I recently purchased a Teac SuperQuad CD-55A cdrom drive that is not
currently supported by linux.  Does anybody out there have an idea of
where I can find a driver for this drive even if it is only an ALPHA
driver/patch.  If you do please send me a message here and if possible

here.
                        Thanks
