Support=>MV Pro 3D SCSI port?

Dos anyone know what kind of SCSI chip is on the Media Vision Pro 3D (or
Premiem 3D) sound card?  I have heard that it is a NCR53c406a.  Can
someone verify this?  Is this chip supported by Linux?  How is the
SCSI performance on this SCSI port (it is rated 2.5MB/Sec on avg.)?  Good
enough for a harddrive??

Does anyone know if there's either support for the SCSI controller of
this card or if the Pro/Premium 3D uses the same SCSI chipset as the
PAS SCSI and will work?
