at the moment I'm trying to get Linux running on an IBM Valuepoint. The
only problem I have is getting XFree (3.1 and 2.1 have the same problem)
up and running. The machine has an on-board S3 805 chip with an att20c490
ramdac on 110 Mhz. Thus far all I ever got was a completely crashed machine
such that ctrl-alt-del doesn't work anymore, and logging in via the network
doesn't work either, so we have a real crash!
Any suggestions?
I'm getting desparately.
