"LI The first stage boot loader was able to load the second stage boot
loader, but has failed to execute it. This can either be caused by a
geometry mismatch or by moving /boot/boot.b  without running the map
installer."  -- http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Bootdisk-HOWTO/a1483.html

You need to give us more information - what are the contents of your
/etc/lilo.conf ? Have you had it working previously? If so, what changed?
What hardware are you using? (in particular, hard disks and IDE
controllers)

This is the problem of LILO, the Linux loader. Have you install some
other boot loader program or windows98? No matter what reasons it has
exactly, you can solve the problem by reinstall the lilo. If you have
a bootable floppy, which should be created during the SUSE setup, you
can load your computer using this floppy. Then, the linux can be
loaded. When you loggin as root, you can execute command lilo to get a
reinstalled lilo program.
Good luck!
