gpc compiler

gpc compiler

        I have gpc 2.5.7 compiled on my system (0.99.15j Posix) but only
        root can use it, when a user attempts to use it the following
        message appears:

        gpc: installation problem, cannot exec gpc1: no such file or directory

        when root uses it, it compiles anything you throw at it, and
        it even works  :)    

        any ideas or suggestions?

1. GNU's GPC Compiler

Anyone know where I can find a fairly new 2.x or later version of GPC
that will run on Redhat 5.1.

Any help is appreciated.
