I've been having trouble getting my Trans-Ameritech CD (slackware)
release to recognize this scsi CD unit. The CD works fine on my
DOS partition. Can anyone shed some light ?
gracias !

A coupla' questions.....
what host adapter are you using?
How does it not work?
Can you...
boot the system without it*?
mount the drive but not read the contents?
boot ok but not mount the drive?
What is...
the scsi id of the cdr-74?
the scsi id of the host adapter?
Inquiring minds want to know :)

1. Play Audio CDs/NEC CDR-74/SCSI/console
I've got a CD-ROM drive from NEC, using a SCSI card, but I don't have any
programs that run under Linux that will play audio discs.
Are there any such programs that do not run under X? I don't have X.
Any information appreciated.
