Kernel patch levels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kernel patch levels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post by Rod M » Tue, 16 Aug 1994 15:55:44

 Hi there,
I have to update my kernel from 1.0.9 -> 1.1.12+ for DOSEMU.

This brings up the general question of info about patch levels. I've read
many HOWTOs/FAQs and searched a few archives but I can't find a list of patch
levels say 1.0.9+, which lists WHAT THE PATCH LEVEL WAS FOR AND ANY
PROBLEMS IT CAUSED, does a list such as this exist anywhere????

    thanks for any help,
If not, is 1.1.12 'stable' or is 1.1.18/19 worth the effort?

1. Need old Linux kernel ... patch level 13

HELP!!  I overwrote my only copy of the Linux pl13 boot
kernel, and now I can't boot without it.

If anyone can tell me where I can find it, or if anyone
can send me a copy, I would *really* appreciate it!

I have been using it to boot using my Ultrastore 14F
SCSI controller, and I haven't been able to get any other
kernel to work with it.

I have been searching for it, but haven't found the
binary boot image ... only the source (and I can't
compile it unless I can boot my machine).
